A One Day Assessment Makes Father Like Daughter
Collette Thornley and her father David have gained Painting and Decorating qualifications by very different routes. Collette is studying at City College Coventry on a traditional Painting & Decorating Level 1 Diploma, whilst her father and several of his colleagues at Daly Painting, came to achieve a Painting & Decorating Level 2 NVQ in one day through the (EWPA) scheme. The Experienced Worker Practical Assessment is a fast track route available for workers with a minimum of five year's experience, who do not need any further training. It involves spending a day having skills and knowledge assessed by an approved assessor.
